Egyptian, Tunisian presidents discuss anti-coronavirus efforts

CAIRO, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and his Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied discussed on Friday efforts to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus.

During a phone conversation, both leaders agreed to coordinate the virus control measures through the exchange of experience and communication between relevant agencies of the two countries, Egyptian presidency's spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.

They also discussed enhancing joint economic cooperation, trade exchange, and mutual investment, the spokesman added.

The two presidents highlighted keenness to help end the Libyan crisis by reaching a political solution, rejecting any foreign interference in the country.
