Recently, CARC received a letter with sympathy and support of the scholars of the Saudi Scientific Research and Knowledge Exchange Center for the Chinese people's response to the epidemic. The center is an important think tank under the Saudi royal family. It has always been concerned about China's development and China-Arab cooperation. Last September, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, the scholars of CARC went to Saudi Arabia and jointly hold an academic seminar with the center on Achievements, Opportunities, Prospects-Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the PRC.
Hessem, scholar at the Saudi Centre for Scientific Research and Knowledge Exchange:
“China is Saudi Arabia's biggest partner. Saudi people are willing to go through the storm with the Chinese people, and we are convinced that China will be able to overcome the epidemic. Come on China, come on Wuhan!
Abdullah, scholar at the Saudi Centre for Scientific Research and Knowledge Exchange:
Bosom Friends Make Distance Disappear. The Saudi people and the Chinese people stand together. We wish the patients and medical staff who are fighting the disease to be healthy and safe. I believe that China, which has experienced countless storms, will surely overcome difficulties again!
Nasser Haiershan, International Relations Specialist, Saudi E-Government Project, was a researcher at the Saudi Scientific Research and Knowledge Exchange Center. He graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and visited CARC in November 2018.
In his letter, he wrote:
The Chinese government mobilized all parties and formed a high-quality team to deal with the crisis. The rapid establishment of emergency hospitals and the unity of the Chinese people facing the epidemic have once again shocked the world. Thunder God Mountain hospital and Fire God Mountain hospital are miracles. In addition, Chinese scientists are racing against time to develop vaccines, and the Chinese government releases relevant data in a timely and transparent manner.
China's ability and efficiency to deal with crises cannot be simulated by any other country. China's experience in dealing with crises has contributed to the world. China has gone through the crisis many times and has succeeded in various economic, social, and sports undertakings. During my studies in Beijing, I experienced major events such as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
China will successfully overcome the challenges of today and tomorrow. China is an important part of the world economy, politics, and education. In the face of this epidemic, without China's power to fight against the virus and safeguard the world, the world will no longer be able to stand up again.
