We can say that no other country can do what China has done to curb the NCP, develop virus therapies and vaccines. After realizing the seriousness of the NCP, the Chinese government immediately took comprehensive measures to prevent its spread, which no other governments in the world could succeed.

China has a population of 1.4 billion. The government must provide people with medical and food security when the entire city is closed, and factories, schools and most shops must be closed. This is on the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year. People all over the country are preparing for the celebration of the New Year. They plan to travel abroad and visit relatives and friends.

It is wise for the Chinese government to cancel celebrations to prevent the virus from spreading among people. According to the US Bloomberg, China sacrificed a province in order to save the world. Sacrifice here means that the Chinese government must impose restrictions on the travel of residents of Hubei Province. Restricting flowability may disturb some people, but the safety of hundreds of millions of other Chinese and world people is even more important.

As Yang Gonghuan, the former deputy director of CCDC said, Quarantine has caused a lot of difficulties, but this measure is correct. Like fighting, some things are difficult but must be done.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a security conference in Munich on February 15 that China's measures to control the NCP from the source are encouraging.

The growth of new cases in other provinces in China is slowing, which may be a sign that compulsory measures are working, curbing the spread of the NCP in China and globally. A doctor at Wuhan Third People's Hospital said: Quarantine is a correct measure in favor of more residents, which does prevent the virus from spreading to other regions. Zhang Qianfan, a professor at Beijing University School of Law, said: To control the spread of the virus, the blockade is necessary, but the city must be provided with adequate medical equipment.

During the blockade, the Chinese government provided substantial medical assistance to Hubei Province. More than 8,000 doctors headed to Hubei from all over the country. Most of them were assigned to 27 hospitals in Wuhan to treat infected people, and other medical staffs were sent to nearby small and medium cities.

Specialized Hospital for Infected People

Since existing hospitals cannot accommodate all infected people and cannot detect all suspected cases, the Chinese government built two hospitals in Wuhan in dozens of days. This is another miracle of China. No other country in the world can accomplish this task in such a short time.

China has once again shocked the world. The government has made wise decisions, the people are united and cooperative, 1.4 billion people are united in action. The Chinese respect cooperation and dedication. They are calm, actively engaged with finding solutions when facing problems, and not messing around and shirking responsibility. The Chinese complied with the relevant requirements without complaints. Some airports were closed and cars were shut down. People were prepared to stay at home for 14 days.

Chinese scholars have been searching for solutions since the virus emerged, and have not waited for the solution from the WHO or Western countries. However, the Chinese government is also very transparent and informs WHO and other countries of the genetic sequence, symptoms and route of transmission of the virus, so that other countries can also prepare to face the spread and treatment of the virus.

The crisis has also shown the Chinese people who are true friends. Some western countries or neighboring countries are selfish, focusing only on whether the virus will spread to their own countries, and only on whether China's political economy will regress. However, most people in the world, especially the Arab countries, empathize with the Chinese government and the Chinese people and pray that China will succeed in fighting the epidemic.
